Greetings, Grace Online Church Family,
As we close out this incredible first week of prayer and fasting, I want to take a moment to reflect and extend my heartfelt thanks. What a powerful start to this journey of spiritual discipline, connection, and growth!
First, I’d like to thank Elder Webber for being my co-facilitator this week. Your wisdom and guidance have been a blessing to all of us. I also want to thank Sisters Samone and Sharron for leading such impactful prayer calls—your words and faith have uplifted and inspired us. And to Sister Joi Lindsay, thank you for all your help both in front of and behind the scenes. Your dedication has ensured everything runs smoothly.
This week, we came together in prayer and practiced the Daniel Fast, committing to turn away from some of our favorite foods—yes, even fried chicken, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese! We know it can be challenging, but remember, it takes a heart of commitment and a mind resolved to win. And let me tell you, we believe in you! This week, you’ve shown that with faith and determination, nothing is impossible.
In addition to the fast, we were blessed by deep dives into God’s Word during our Bible Study on Wednesday. Together, we are growing stronger, both spiritually and as a community.

As we look ahead to next week, our prayer calls will continue Monday through Wednesday at 6:00 AM (PST) / 9:00 AM (EST) and 6:00 PM (PST) / 9:00 PM (EST). The fast and prayer will conclude on Wednesday, January 22nd. Please join us for Bible Study on Wednesday at 6:00 PM (PST) / 9:00 PM (EST) as we reflect and celebrate the completion of this spiritual journey.
If you have a prayer request that you would like brought to the prayer call, please submit it here: Prayer Request Form.
If you wish for your prayer request to remain private, you can send it through the website at graceonlinechurch.com or reach out to me directly.
Additionally, don’t forget to tune in on YouTube this Sunday to hear an inspiring sermon from Bishop Ernest Jackson. Let’s gather virtually and be encouraged by the Word of God.
To stay connected as a community, we’ve created a WhatsApp group where you can share, encourage, and support one another throughout this journey. If you’d like to join, here’s the link: WhatsApp Group Link
I leave you with this scripture to encourage your hearts:
“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” – Psalm 145:18 (NIV)

Keep pressing forward, church family. Your commitment and resolve are inspiring; we know God is moving in your lives. Let’s continue to lift each other in prayer and walk this faith journey together!
Blessings,
Pastor Howard Lindsay
